1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef 1 small onion, chopped(about 1/4 cup) 1/2 cup chopped celery 1/2 tsp. salt 4 cups herb-seasoned stuffing cubes 1 1/2 cups milk 2 eggs 1 can (10 1/2-ozs.) condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4-ozs.)
1. Heat oven to 350-degrees.
2. Cook and stir meat, onion and celery in large skillet until meat is brown. Drain off fat. Stir in salt.
3. Arrange stuffing cubes in greased baking pan, 9x9x2 or 11 3/4x7 1/2x1 1/4 inches; top with meat mixture.
4. Beat milk, eggs, soup and mustard; pour over meat an sprinkle with cheese.
5. Bake uncovered until knife inserted in center comes out clean, 30 to 40 minutes. Cool 5 minutes, then cut into squares.
