1/2 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup butter 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon almond extract 2 eggs 2 1/2 cups sifted, all-purpose flour 2 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt
1. Blend until creamy: 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup butter.
2. Beat in the vanilla extract, almond extract, 2 eggs, 2 1/2 sifted, all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt.
3. Refrigerate dough for about 3 hours.
4. Preheat oven to 375-degree.
5. Roll out dough and cut or shape as desired if dough is too sticky, dust a little , dust a little flour on roller and board.
6. Decorate as desired with colored sugars, slivered almonds, etc.
7. Bake on greased cookie sheet about 8 to 12 minutes.
