6 hot dogs utter, for the hot dog buns 6 hot dog buns, sliced partway about 6 tablespoon bottled hot sauce
1. Cut the hot dogs in half diagonally without cutting through. Lay on the grill rack of a preheated barbeque about 4-inches from the heat source, and cook, turning, until plump and lightly browned.
2. Just before the hot dogs are done, butter each bun and place on the grill cut-side down. Heat for a moment but do not toast.
3. Spoon a tablespoon of the hot sauce onto each bun, place the hot dog in the bun, and serve.
