1/4 lb. margarine 4 eggs 1 cup plain flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 cup sugar 1 lb. can chocolate syrup Topping: 1 (10 1/2 oz.) bag miniature marshmallows 1 cup pecans, chopped 2/3 stick margarine 1 egg, beaten 2 squares unsweetened chocolate 1 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1. Combine first 6 ingredients for cake. Beat well.
2. Pour in 9x13-inch pan.
3. Bake about 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
4. Remove from oven and immediately place marshmallows and nuts on top of cake.
5. Melt 2/3 stick margarine and chocolate squares. Cool slightly.
6. Add eggs and confectioners sugar, beat well.
7. Heat until runny. Pour and spread over top of cake.
8. Let cool and cut in squares to serve.
