4 cups tart apples, peeled and sliced 3 tablespoons water 3/4 cup flour 1 cup sugar 6 tablespoons margarine 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1. Place apples in a greased 10x6 baking dish.
2. Sprinkle water over apples.
3. Mix sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apples.
4. Cut margarine into pats and lay on top.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes until apples are tender and top is brown.
