Description: Home-made potato chips are much nicer than bought ones and contain less fat, so try these the next time you would like some potato chips.

Ingredients:
Salt
2-3 large potatoes
4-6 Tbs. vegetable oil
Preparation:
1. Bring a saucepan of salted water to the boil.

2. Peel the potatoes and cut lengthways into very thin slices.

3. Immediately put the slices in hot water and stir well so that they do not stick to each other. Leave them in the water for 3 to 4 minutes until they have become manageable.

4. Remove the potato slices from the water and drain well. Roll them up and place 5 or 6 rolls 3/8-inch apart on a skewer.

5. Brush with oil and cook on a hot grid for about 10 to 15 minutes, turning several times.

6 Drain briefly just before serving.

7. They can be seasoned to taste with garlic salt, paprika or curry powder.
