1 quart half and half
3/8 cup sugar
1/2 pint vanilla ice cream
3 eggs, separated
1 teaspoon vanilla
nutmeg (to top drink)

1. Beat egg whites until stiff. Cream yolks and sugar. Add vanilla. Fold in whites then softened ice cream.

2. Put crushed ice in punch bowl and pour eggnog over.
