Description: For a quick pick-me-up, try this drink.

Ingredients:
6 large carrots, pared and diced
4 sticks celery, chopped
1 piece (4-inches) ginger root, peeled and chopped
2 Tbs. apple juice
2 drops bottled hot sauce
1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
Preparation:
1. In a blender, combine the carrots, celery, ginger, and apple juice and process on high until smooth. Cover the blender container and chill in the refrigerator until needed.

2. When ready, add the hot sauce and lemon juice, and process on high to blend.

3. Pour into chilled glasses and serve.
