Crock-Pot Apple Butter

Description: Everyone will love this on hot biscuits or any type of bread.

Ingredients:
8 cups cooked apples, peeled
4 cups sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
Preparation:
1. Sliced peeled apples and cook on stove on slow in a small amount of water. Put cooked apples, sugar and vinegar in slow cooker (crock-pot).

2. Cover and cook mixture 12 hours on low.

3. At this point, you may want to puree mixture and return to pot. Add spices and cook for 3 hours on high, without lid or until mixture becomes spreading consistency.

4. Fill jars (sterilized). Adjust lids and immerse in boiling water for 10 minutes.
