Chef's Comments:
To save time, use meat that has been cut up for stir fry.
If you're cutting your own, it's easier if the meat is slightly frozen when you slice it.
Ingredients:
2 lb beef top round steak; cut into 1/8 thick slices
1/4 cup onions; chopped
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 bay leaf
2 tablespoons garlic; minced
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup tarragon vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 drop liquid smoke
Preparation:
1. Combine ingredients in slow cooker; cover.

2. Cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours, depending on how well done you want meat.

3. Remove bay leaf before serving.

4. Serve by itself or on rolls.
