| Passed down by my mother, she supposedly clipped this recipe from a magazine that had received it from a chef at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. At any rate, it is absolutely the best red velvet cake recipe I have ever used. |

| The only additions this dish needs are a glass of chilled Chardonnay and a piece of fresh bread. Dim the lights, light the candles, and enjoy! Best of all, this recipe is ready for the table in 30 minutes or less, but it will look like you worked hard to prepare it. |
