2 cups flour (1 plain, 1 self-rising)
2 cups sugar
1 tsp soda
2 sticks butter
3 Tablespoon cocoa
1 cup coca cola
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows
2 eggs beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1. Combine flour,sugar and soda in bowl.
2. Melt butter. Add cocoa and cola until boiling. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Pour over flour mixture.
3. Add eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla. Mix well by hand (no mixer).
4. Bake in 13x10x2 baking pan at 350 oven for 30-35 minutes or until middle springs back. Ice while hot.
** Icing: 1/2 cup butter, 3 Tablespoons cocoa, 1 teaspon vanilla, 1 box or 1 pound 10X sugar, 6 Tablespoons coca cola, 1 cup chopped pecans.
1. Mix all ingredients except pecans at high speed of mixer until smooth. Add pecans and spread on cake while hot.
