Description: This is great to try during the season for Vidalia Onions.

Ingredients:
2 lbs. Vidalia onions, peeled and sliced thin
1/2 cup real butter
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of Tabasco sauce
1 9-inch pie shell, unbaked
1/2cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation:
1. Saute' onions in butter. Combine eggs and sour cream. Add onions and stir in seasonings.

2. Pour into pie shell and top with cheese.

3. Bake in preheated 450-degree oven for 20 minutes, reduce heat to 325-degrees, and cook 20 minutes more or until brown and bubbly. (May reduce calories and fat by using light sour cream, Egg beaters, and Heart Healthy cheese.
