1/2 cup vinegar 1/2 cup soy sauce 1 clove garlic, minced fine dash of freshly ground black pepper 1 (2 to 3-lb.) frying chicken, cut into serving pieces
1. Put vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and pepper in skillet.
2. Add chicken; let marinate together at least 30 minutes.
3. Heat to boil on top of stove.
4. Cove skillet; lower heat.
5. Simmer about 40 minutes. Liquid will be absorbed into chicken.
6. Served hot or cold.
