2 cucumbers 1 cup sour cream 1 1/2 tsp. salt lack pepper to taste 1 large white onion, sliced 2 Tbs. vinegar
1. Peel and slice cucumbers very thin.
2. Arrange in layers in large shallow dish; sprinkle each layer with salt and place a plate over the dish.
3. Weigh plate down with something heavy.
4. Allow to stand at room temperature about 2 hours.
5. Sqeeze liquid from cucumbers with hands.
6.Combine with all other ingredients and chill several hours or days before serving.
