3 to 4 lb. spareribs salt and pepper to taste 1 onion, chopped 1 16-oz. bottle smokey barbeque sauce* May use 2 cups homemade barbeque sauce, if desired.
1. Sprinkle spareribs with salt and pepper.
2. Place spareribs on broiler pan. Broil for 30 minutes to brown; remove excess fat.
3. Slice ribs into serving pieces; place in Crock-Pot.
4. Add onion; pour barbecue sauce over top. Cover.
5. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours.
