1 Medium onion, grated 1 1/2 lbs. Raw shrimp, shelled, deveined, gratec 1 Medium raw potato, grated 1 Egg, slightly beaten Salt and pepper to taste Oil for deep frying
1. Grind or grate onion and shrimp into large bowl.
2. Grind potato; pat dry with paper towels.
3. Stir in egg, salt, and pepper. Potato is the thickening; batter will be thick.
4. Heat deep frying oil; drop batter in by spoonfuls. Fry until golden brown
5. Remove with slotted spoon, and drain on paper towels.
6. Serve hot.
