1 cup shrimp, cut in small pieces 1 cup bread crumbs 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon prepared mustard 1 egg, slightly beaten 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 4 shakes Tabasco sauce
1. Pour milk over bread crumbs to moisten.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients except shrimp, and mix well.
3. Add shrimp and mix.
4. Drop by spoonfuls into a hot pan greased with bacon fat, and cook until brown, turning once. (Use a healthier alternative to this grease, if desired.)
5. Serve with hot grits and butter for a breakfast or supper meal, or use as an appetizer.
