Topping: 1 cup instant oats 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup margarine/butter 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon Filling: 1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tablespoon flour 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 cup water dash lemon juice 6 cups fresh fruit
1. Wash, peel, and slice fruit of choice.
HINT: Apples, peaches, blueberries are always popular. My favorite is 5 cups peaches and 1 cup raspberries.
2. Mix with remaining filling ingredients, and pour into casserole dish.
3. Melt butter for topping and add remaining topping ingredients.
HINT: You can choose to double the topping if you like.
4. Crumble topping over filling and bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until fruit is soft and topping has browned slightly. Serve warm over ice cream.
