8 thick-sliced (3/4-inch)pork chops 8 onion slices, about 1/4 inch thick 8 fresh lemon slices, about 1/4 inch thick, from midsections of 2 unpeeled lemons 2/3 cup brown sugar 1 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 3 Tbs fresh lemon juice 2/3 cup chili sauce
1. Place pork in single layer in baking pan.
2. Place 1 onion slice topped with 1 lemon slice on center of each chop.
3. Blend remaining ingredients; spoon over each chop.
4. Cover pan tightly and bake in 350-degree oven for 1 1/2 hours or until pork is tender.
