1/4 cup raw white rice 1 quart sliced okra 1 quart stewed tomatoes 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon curry powder (optional) pepper to taste several pats of margarine
1. Mix first six ingredients and place in lightly greased casserole dish.
2. Dot with butter.
3. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for approximately 45 minutes, until rice is tender.
4. Remove cover and continue baking until top is lightly browned.
