6 cups sugar 1 large can evaporated milk 1 pint white Karo Syrup 1/2 lb. margarine 4 cups chopped nuts 2 tsp. vanilla
1. In a large sauce pan bring sugar, evaporated milk, Karo Syrup, and margarine to a boil, stirring frequently. Boil until a hard ball forms when some syrup is dropped into cold water.
2. Remove from heat and add nuts and vanilla.
3. When cool enough to handle, butter hands and knead.
4. Form into rolls, wrap in foil and refrigerate.
