Description: Makes enough for two pie crusts
Currently no recipe photo.
Great recipes online.
Ingredients:
1 cup Crisco or other good shortening
pinch of salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup boiling water
Preparation:
1. Mix shortening, salt and boiling water in a large bowl. Whip with a fork until fluffy.

2. Add the flour all at once. Stir until it leaves the side of the bowl.

3. Roll between two sheets of wax paper.

4. If using for two one-crust pies, bake at 375 degrees F for 10-12 minutes, or until light brown, before adding filling. This also freezes well if made up ahead, if you like to have pie shells on hand for one-crust pies.
