1 cup refried beans 24 round tortilla chips 1/4 cup mild salsa 1/2 cup shredded monterey jack cheese 24 black olive slices
1. Position the broiler rack about 5 inches from the heat source and preheat the broiler.
2. Arrange the tortilla chips on a cookie sheet. Evenly spread 1 heaping teaspoon of the beans on each chip, top with 1/2 teaspoon salsa, 1 teaspoon cheese, and 1 olive slice.
3. Place in the broiler and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes, or until the cheese melts. The nachos are best served immediately.
