1 lb veal 1 lb pork 1/4 cup flour 1 Tbs salt 1/2 tsp white pepper 4 eggs 1/2 cup light cream 1 cup milk 1 medium onion, chopped 1 Tbs butter or shortening
1. Mix veal and pork together well in large bowl.
2. With electric beater at low speed, add flour, salt, and pepper.
3. Add eggs one at a time, still at low speed.
4. Add cream and milk.
5. In large skillet, brown onion in butter just 5 minutes; add to meat.
6. Mix enough so that meat can be easily handled; shape into oval cakes.
7. Brown both sides; add extra shortening if needed.
Cook over low heat 15 minutes.
NOTE: Because pork is included, meatballs must be thoroughly cooked.
