1/4 cup butter or margarine 4 cups tightly packed marshmallows 6 cups crisp rice cereal
1. Melt butter in 3-quart saucepan.
2. Add marshmallows; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are completely melted.
3. Add rice cereal; stir just until blended.
4. Immediately press mixture into well-oiled, shallow pan, about 12x9 inches.
5. When cool, cut into 1-inch squares.
As an option, you can add 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips or 1 cup chopped walnuts to rice cereal.
