4 eggs, separated 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup sifted sugar 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 tablespoon butter flavoring 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. Beat egg whites; add salt. Beat until stiff peaks form,
adding 1/2 cup sugar gradually.
2. Beat egg yolks with remaining 1/2 cup sugar until
fluffy. Combine egg white and egg yolk mixtures, mixing
well.
3. Sift flour and baking powder together; fold into egg
mixture.
4. Add flavorings; mix well.
4. Turn into greased angel food cake pan.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F until cake tests done.
