Layer Cake Recipes

1/2 pound butter or margarine
1 large spoon crisco
1 1/3 cup sugar
1 cup milk or cream 4 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 cups flour

1. Beat margarine, Crisco, sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time.

2. Add flour and favoring.

3. Beat well.

4. Bake at 350-degrees until done.

5. Makes 3 layers.

6. Use your favorite recipe for frosting or use canned frosting.
