1 12 ounce condensed milk 4 egg yolks 1/2 key lime juice 4 egg whites 6 tablespoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar pie crust
1. Mix condensed milk, egg yolks, lime juice.
2. Beat one egg white stiff and fold into mixture.
3. Pour into baked pie shell
4. Beat 3 egg whites, gradually add sugar and cream of tartar.
5. Spread over filling forming peaks and bake until the egg whites are golden brown.
