2 packages frozen chopped spinach 3/4 teaspoon celery salt 4 tablespoons butter 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt 2 tablespoons flour salt to taste 2 tablespoons chopped onion 1 6-ounce roll jalapeno cheese 1/2 cup evaporated milk 1 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce 1/2 cup vegetable liquor 1/2 teaspoon black pepper ed pepper to taste
1. Cook spinach according to directions on package. Drain and reserve liquor.
2. Melt butter. Add flour; stir to blended and smooth, but not brown.
3. Add onion to cook until soft but not brown.
4. Add liquor slowly, stirring constantly. Cook until smooth and thick.
5. Add seasoning and cheese, cut into small pieces. Stir until melted.
6. Combine with cooked spinach. May put in casserole with buttered bread crumbs.
