3/4 cup margarine 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 1/2 cup flour 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup oats, uncooked 10 ounces jam, choice of taste
1. Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add combined dry ingredients; mix well.
3. Press half of the crumb mixture into greased 13 X 9" pan.
4. Spread with jam; sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
5. Bake at 400 F, 20 to 25 minutes.
6. Cool, cut into bars.
