1 cup ground cooked ham 1/2 cup grated carrot 1/2 cup salad dressing 1 1/2 teaspoon prepared horseradish 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 1 loaf sandwich bread soft butter
1. Mix ham, carrot, salad dressing, horseradish, salt and pepper thoroughly in mixing bowl.
2. Cut small heart from center of half the bread slices with heart-shaped cookie cutter; spread hearts with butter.
3. Remove crusts from whole bread slices; spread slices with ham salad.
4. Place hearts on whole bread slices to serve.
