1 1/2 lbs fresh green beans, broken into short pieces, or 2 10-oz. pkgs. frozen cut green beans 2 small onions, quartered 1/2 stalk celery, diced about 2-oz cooked ham, cut into bite-size pieces 2 tsp salt pepper to taste 1/2 cup water 1 Tbs butter or margarine
1. Place beans in 2-quart saucepan.
2. Add remaining ingredients; bring to boil, then simmer until beans are tender, 12 to 20 minutes.
