Ingredients:
12 slices day-old white bread
1 pound ham, cubed
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups shredded jack cheese
12 eggs
3 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
pepper to taste
Preparation:
1. Remove crusts from bread and cut into 1/2 inch strips.

2. Line bottom of greased 9x13 pan with half of the bread slices.

3. Scatter ham cubes over bread; top with the cheeses, followed by the remaining bread.

4. In a large bowl combine the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour over the casserole.

5. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

6. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 1 hour. Cool slightly before serving.
