1 cup uncooked old-fashioned oats 1 cup wheat germ 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs 1/2 cup flaked coconut 1/2 cup slivered blanched almonds 1 to 2 tablespoon light brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract milk 3 pts. strawberries
1. Combine oats, wheat germ, cracker crumbs, coconut, almonds, brown sugar and vanilla in shallow baking pan; mix well.
2. Bake in 275-degree oven for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Cool. Store granola in tightly covered container in refrigerator.
3. Combine 1/2 cup granola, 1/2 cup milk and about 3/4 cup of whole strawberries for each serving. Recipe may be doubled, if desired.
