1/4 cup brown sugar 2 tablespoons cornstarch 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup lemon juice 1/2 cup water 2 tablespoons ketchup 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 2 lbs chicken wings, tips removed* NOTE: For appetizers, use chicken drummettes.
1. Combine in a pot all ingredients except chicken. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for five minutes.
2. Brush or spray grill with vegetable oil.
3. Place chicken on grill; grill, covered, for 15-20 minutes over medium heat. While grilling, brush frequently with glaze, turning once.
