5 tomatoes, chopped 2 celery stalks, chopped 2 carrots, chopped 1 medium onion, chopped 8 green onions, chopped 1 pack Equal sugar substitute 1 teaspoon basil 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon oregano 1 tablespoon vegetable or salad oil 1 pound spaghetti
1. Put the vegetables in a pot and cover tightly. Cook
over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 min.
2. Add seasonings.
3. Cover, and cook on medium-low heat for 5 minutes.
4. Add oil; simmer for 30 minutes, or until carrots are tender.
5. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti; drain. Toss with the sauce.
