1/2 stick (1/4 cup) margarine or butter 1 cup sugar 1 cup self-rising flour 1 cup milk 3 cups of berries or other fruit
1. Preheat oven to 350-degrees.
2. Melt margarine in 2-quart casserole dish. Combine sugar, flour, and milk in mixing bowl. Mix well.
3. Pour batter over melting margarine and spread evenly. Pour fruit over batter.
4. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes, or until lightly browned.
5. Add vanilla ice cream; if desired.
