Salad: 1 1-lb can fruit cocktail, drained with 3/4 cup juice eserved 1 3-oz package lime Jello 1/2 cup whipped topping 1 tablespoon lemon juice Frosting: 3 oz cream cheese 2 tablespoons milk 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salad:
1. Mix reserved juice from fruit cocktail with Jello. Heat and stir until Jello is dissolved. Chill until consistency of egg white.
2. Mix together fruit cocktail, whipped topping, and lemon juice. Combine with chilled Jello.
3. Pour into loaf pan; congeal in refrigerator.
Frosting:
1. Mix all ingredients; beat until creamy.
2. Spread over congealed salad. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
