1 pound lean ground beef 1/2 cup chopped onion 6-oz.(3 cups)medium noodles, cooked and drained 1 1-lb. can tomatoes 1 6 ounce can tomato paste 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp process american cheese 1/2 cup sliced ripe black olives 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon dried basil, crushed 1/8 teaspoon pepper
1. Preheat oven 350-degrees.
2. Cook meat and onion in large skillet until onions are tender.
3. Stir in noodles, tomatoes, tomato paste, 1 cup shredded cheese, olives, and seasonings.
4. Turn into a 2-quart casserole dish.
5. Top with remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese.
6. Bake at 350-degrees for 45 minutes or until heated completely.
