8 to 10 carrots, sliced crosswise 2 tablespoons sugar 1/4 cup water
1. Combine all ingredients in microwaveable dish and stir.
2. Cover and cook on HIGH in microwave for about 8 to 9 minutes, or until desired degree of doneness. (Keep in mind that carrots will continue to steam and cook after they are removed from microwave, unless you serve immediately.)
