1 cup flour 1 cup cornmeal 1 teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup shortening 1 cup buttermilk 1 egg 2 cup carrots; shredded 1 cup pineapple-crushed
1. Cream sugar and shortening together; add egg, buttermilk, and dry ingredients; then add carrots and pineapple.
2. Place in greased and floured slow cooker baking pan.
3. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours.
