1 lb. tart apples (Winesaps or Jonathans are good) 1 16-oz. pkg. whole fresh cranberries 1 cup sugar, or to taste
1. Core apples; do not peel, unless skins are tough. Grind apples and cranberries. Add sugar and mix well.
2. Refrigerate covered. Allow to marinate at least 24 hours, stirring several times.
