1 1/2 cups whole-berry cranberry sauce 2 tablespoons + 1/3 cup granulated sugar 1/4 cup orange juice 1/4 teaspoon + 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon grated orange zest 2 cans (15 1/4 oz. each) pear halves, drained 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 cup sliced natural almonds 1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar 2/3 cup butter, melted vanilla ice cream, optional
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Coat 8" square baking pan with cooking spray. In bowl combine cranberry sauce, 2 tablespoons grnaulated sugar, juice, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and zest. Sread mixture in pan; top with pears.
2. In seperate bowl combine flour, almonds, brown sugar and remaining granulated sugar and cinnamon; stir in butter. With hands squeeze mixture together to form crumbs; sprinkle over fruit.
3. Bake until bubbly, 45 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes. Serve with ice cream, if desired.
No leftover cranberry sauce, just add a can (16 oz) of sauce.
