1 4-lb. corned beef 4 carrots 2 onions, halved 4 peppercorns 3 potatoes, quartered 1/2 cabbage, halved
1. Soak corned beef in water overnight.
2. Place beef in slow cooker with 2 1/2 cups water, carrots, onions and peppercorns. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
3. Add potatoes and cabbage; cook on low an additional 4 to 6 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours.
