1 cup (8 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil 1 cup chopped peanuts 4 firm ripe bananas, peeled and cut diagonally in half. 8 wooden craft sticks
1. Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
2. Melt 1/2 cup of chips following package instructions. Stir in 1 1/2 teaspoons of the oil. Scrape into a shallow plate with a rim.
3. Spread 1/2 the nuts on a piece of waxed paper.
4. Insert a craft stick into cut end of 4 banana halves. Roll bananas in melted chocolate (use a spoon to help), then roll in chopped nuts. Place on prepared sheet.
5. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Freeze at least 1 hour before serving or before placing in an airtight container and freezing.
This dessert can be stored in the freezer for up to a month.
