1 1/2 lb. beef top round steak, 1/2 inch thick 1 beaten egg 1 Tbs. milk 1 cup fine cracker crumbs 1/4 cup salad oil
1. Pound steak 1/4 inch thick; cut in serving pieces.
2. Blend egg and milk.
3. Dip meat in egg mixture, then in crumbs.
4. Slowly brown meat in hot oil, turning once.
5. Cover; cook over low heat 45 to 60 minutes until tender.
6. Season to taste.
