1 lb ground beef 1/3 cup chopped onion 1 egg, beaten 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese 2 Tbs chopped fresh parsley 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce 2 cups biscuit mix 2 Tbs mayonnaise 1/2 cup cold water
1. Brown beef and onion. Drain.
2. Combine egg, cheeses, parsley, salt, pepper and hot
pepper sauce; stir into meat.
3. In a separate bowl combine biscuit mix, mayonnaise and
water. Stir with a fork to make a soft dough.
4. Pat half of dough into a greased 8-inch square baking
dish.
5. Spoon meat over dough.
6. With floured fingers, pat remaining dough over meat.
7. Bake at 400-degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve hot with
warm catsup or tomato sauce.
