4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese 3/4 to 1 cup mayonnaise 1/2 small onion, grated and drained 3/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (less if desired)
1. Mix together all ingredients.
2. Press into lightly greased mold (Bundt pan works).
Refrigerate overnight.
3. Before serving, turn out onto serving dish. Fill center with strawberry preserves, and place assorted crackers around the outside.
NOTE: For tailgating or other very informal gatherings, skip the mold and just serve from container, with preserves and crackers handy.
