5 wooden pop sticks 5 medium apples, washed and dried 1 (14-ounce) package KRAFT Traditional Caramels (about 50) 2 tablespoons of water chopped nuts (optional)
1. Insert pop sticks into stem end of apples; set aside.
2. Heat caramels and water in large microwave-safe bowl for 2-3 minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring every minute.
3. Dip apples into melted caramel, spooning caramel over apples to coat. Allow excess caramel to drip off, scraping bottom if necessary. If desired, roll into chopped nuts.
4. Place on greased waxed-paper; let stand 15 minutes or until caramel sets.
